What we do…

We design bespoke, ecological and low carbon homes across Scotland. Based in Glasgow, we work with self builders to develop beautiful and efficient homes, we help groups build communities and landowners realise the potential of their land.
Using the Passivhaus standard, our eco homes are highly energy efficient, comfortable with very low energy bills. We use local timber and natural materials to create healthy, modern, living spaces.

Our skills…

We are architects, registered with the Architects Registration Board and the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland.
We are accredited in Sustainable Design and Conservation by the RIAS and certified Passivhaus designers.
55 North Architecture Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of John Gilbert Architects Ltd.
